A support group for women who are survivors of rape or sexual abuse.
Strength in Support (Women) is Cleveland Rape Crisis Center’s 10-week support group that provides survivors with a safe environment to process the ways in which their history of sexual trauma impacts life today.
When is the support group?
- Mondays, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
- First session on September 16, final session November 18
Where does Strength in Support meet?
- In-Person at Cleveland Rape Crisis Center’s Clark-Fulton Office

Who is it for?
- Women aged 18 or older who have experienced rape or sexual abuse
- Participants who have already engaged in individual therapy for their trauma, at CRCC or elsewhere
What can I expect?
- All sessions led by CRCC trauma therapists
- Support and information about trauma
- Opportunities to explore issues of coping, trust, self-worth and more
- Creative exercises (no art skills needed)
