April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month
The following is a list of events taking place in Northeast Ohio during Sexual Assault Awareness Month to raise awareness about rape and sexual abuse in our community.

Monday, April 1
- Melt Monday (Lakewood, Mentor and Akron Locations) – Dine to Donate: 20% of proceeds from every order showing the Melt Mondays flyer will be donated to CRCC.
- Ambassador Training, Part 1
Tuesday, April 2
- SAAM Day of Action: Friends, volunteers, and community partners are encouraged to wear the color teal on April 2 in support of survivors.
Wednesday, April 3
- Start by Believing Day – Every first Wednesday in April, Start By Believing Day gives communities the opportunity to “end the silence and change the way we respond to sexual assault.”
- Masthead Brewery Taproom, 4:30 – 8:30 p.m. – Drink to Donate: A portion of proceeds from every order will be donated to CRCC.
Thursday, April 4
- Rowley Inn – Dine to Donate: 10% of proceeds from every meal will be donated to CRCC. No flyer needed.
Friday, April 5
- Bibibop (Crocker Park) – 20% of proceeds from orders showing the Bibibop Crocker Park flyer will be donated to CRCC. Ordering Online? Use code BIBIFUNDRAISER.
- DiBella’s Subs (Mentor) – April 5-12 Dine to Donate: 20% of proceeds from every order showing the DiBella’s Subs flyer, mentioning CRCC, or using code CRCC20 online will be donated to CRCC.

- Ambassador Training, Part 2
- Choolaah (Ohio City) – Dine to Donate: 30% of proceeds from every order showing the flyer, or using online code CRCC at checkout, will be donated to CRCC.

- Mellow Mushroom (Rocky River) – Dine to Donate: A percentage of proceeds from every meal will be donated to CRCC. Must mention CRCC.
- Five Below (Ridge Park Square) – April 10-17 10% of proceeds from every purchase with the Five Below flyer will be donated to CRCC.
Thursday, April 11

- Denim Day: Friends, volunteers, and community partners are encouraged to wear denim to raise awareness and speak out against misconceptions about sexual violence.
- Yoga Strong, 7:15-8:15 p.m. Register today for a restorative donation-based yoga class. $20 minimum, all proceeds to CRCC.

- Melt Monday (Lakewood, Mentor and Akron Locations) Dine to Donate: 20% of proceeds from every order showing the Melt Mondays flyer will be donated to CRCC.

Month-Long Events
- Always Indie – 10% of sales in April will be donated to CRCC.
- Bookhouse Brewing – Round up or make a donation of your choice to CRCC when you check out.
- Dahlia Coffee – $1 from every Drink of the Month will be donated to CRCC, and guests can choose to round up for CRCC at checkout.
- Kernels by Chrissie – Use code SAAM when checking out and a donation will be given to CRCC.
- Lekko Coffee – $1 of every order of the Honey Lavender Cappuccino will be donated to CRCC.
- Little Ceasars – Purchase a Pizza Kit online to be mailed to your door.

- Savers FunDrive – Bring your new and gently used clothing and household items to our Shaker Square Office. We will deliver them to Savers, where we will receive a monetary donation based on the total weight of our donated items.
