Protection Order Training Academy: Protection Orders 101
The Protection Order Training Academy: Protection Orders 101 includes in-depth discussions about protection orders and practical tips on how to support survivors in Ohio. Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, Cuyahoga County’s Witness Victim Service Center, Journey Center for Safety and Healing, and the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland are proud to partner together to present this free training opportunity.
Law enforcement, medical and legal professionals, advocates, and all survivor-serving organizations are invited to attend.
Topics Include:
- The nature, effectiveness and legal principles of civil and criminal protection orders
- Basic procedures, applicable statutes, and associated forms
- Nuts and bolts of each order, including similarities and differences
