This September, professionals across Northeast Ohio are invited to come together for two important regional Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) conferences focused on strengthening how our communities recognize, respond to, and prevent sexual violence and exploitation.

Lake County SART: Breaking the Silence

On September 11, the Lake County SART will present Breaking the Silence: Supporting Men Who Have Experienced Abuse, a day focused on better understanding the unique barriers men and boys may face when disclosing abuse and how thoughtful, compassionate responses can help create safer pathways to support and healing.

The conference is free and open to law enforcement, medical professionals, social workers, educators, and other survivor-serving professionals.
