Human Trafficking Awareness Month 2026

January 1, 2026

Stand with Survivors this Human Trafficking Awareness Month

January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and Cleveland Rape Crisis Center invites you to take-action to support survivors.

Looking for ways to get involved?

  1. Become an Ambassador: Stay tuned for our 2026 training schedule so you can learn how to advocate for survivors in your community.
  2. Be Informed: Register today for Safeguarding Youth: Understanding Human Trafficking, Consent & Prevention, happening on Friday, January 23. In partnership with Cleveland Rape Crisis Center and The Collaborative to End Human Trafficking, this free virtual event will discuss how consent, power, and exploitation impacts youth safety.
  3. Wear Your Support: A nod to the original 1970s design, our vintage-inspired “My Body Belongs to Me” T-shirt is a powerful statement of support. Every purchase benefits CRCC.
  4. Spread Awareness: Share our resources and messages on social media (Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn) throughout January to help educate and empower others.
  5. Honor Human Trafficking Awareness Day: Wear royal blue on January 11.
  6. Educate Yourself: Learn about the issue and discover local services for survivors of human trafficking, including Cleveland Rape Crisis Center’s Drop-in Center.
  7. Make a Donation: Give today to help us continue to meet the needs of survivors during Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and beyond.

Together, we can raise awareness and create change for survivors of human trafficking.
