April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month
The following is a list of events taking place in Northeast Ohio during Sexual Assault Awareness Month to raise awareness about rape and sexual abuse in our community.

2023 Calendar of Events
March 31, 2023
- Silent Beauty screening at Cleveland International Film Festival at 2:20 p.m. Use the code CRCC for $1 off tickets.
April 1-30, 2023
- The 1035 Club on Bridge Street in Ashtabula – “Teal Me About It” cocktail will be available throughout April.
- Bookhouse Brewing – During April, patrons will have the option to donate an amount of their choice to CRCC during checkout.
- Fitzgerald’s Wine Bar, Restaurant & Shop in Ashtabula – During April, patrons can order a special “Blue Bird” cocktail and shop a selection of teal earrings. $1 of every purchase made from the earrings and the cocktail will be donated to Cleveland Rape Crisis Center.
- Little Birdie Wine Nest – Use the code #CRCC for $5 off tickets to any Little Birdie Wine Nest event in April.
April 1, 2023
- Motivate Lake County’s Free Community Health Fair – Lakeland Community College, Health Technology Building, 7700 Clocktower Drive in Kirtland from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
April 3, 2023
- Melt Mondays at all Melt Bar & Grilled locations. To participate, patrons must present this flyer (either printed or on mobile) to Melt staff before closing out their bill.
- Ambassador Training: Part 1, 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
April 4, 2023 – SAAM Day of Action
- Wear Teal Day: On SAAM Day of Action, friends, volunteers, and community partners are encouraged to wear the color teal in support of survivors.

- Kendra Gives Back – Visit Kendra Scott at 28699 Chagrin Blvd in Woodmere OH from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. for sips, sweets, jewelry, and to support survivors of sexual violence. - Laurello Vineyards: Enjoy an evening of food, dessert, and wine at Laurello Vineyards in Geneva, Ohio. Part of the proceeds will be donated to Cleveland Rape Crisis Center to support survivors during Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
