Training Overview:

This training is designed to help school security staff, school psychologists, social workers, teachers, and administrative staff to understand the meaning of Trauma-Informed Care and to provide Trauma-Informed Care to those who disclose sexual assault. Class participants will walk away having a clear understanding and confidence in knowing what needs to be reported, and to whom they shall report.

In this training, we will explore and discuss behaviors and information that require reporting through the use of case examples. Attendees will build skills in identifying predatory practices, using the Ecological Approach. Register today.

  • Examine how to respond to survivors of sexual assault using the Trauma Informed Care Model
  • Identify state, federal and local obligations to report
  • Discuss best practice regarding reporting, school policy and staff training
