This training is designed for an intermediate audience working with survivors of human trafficking. We will begin with a brief overview of how to identify human trafficking. The remainder of the training will focus on the complex intersections between human trafficking, addiction, and mental health.

Training Objectives

  • Identify human trafficking and general signs of Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC)
  • Discuss the challenges of working with the dual diagnosis of addiction and mental health
  • Examine trauma-informed practices
