A six-hour Ethics and Supervision CEU workshop for social workers and counselors
This workshop will emphasize practical and ethical solutions for managing ethical dilemmas when working with clients who have experienced trauma. Register today!
Join Kirsti Mouncey, LISW-S, LCDCIII, Chief Program Officer with Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, as we discuss ways that we as clinicians can take a comprehensive approach to ethical decision-making that prioritizes client care without neglecting the legal and personal concerns of the clinician. Topics covered include standards of care for traumatized clients, setting boundaries, multiple relationships, clients’ rights vs. counselors’ responsibilities, and ethical self-care.
In the supervision portion of the workshop, participants will learn about frequently asked supervisory questions, as well as various aspects of supervision perspectives. This workshop will address supervision, diversity, and cultural dynamics factors that supervisees and supervisors face. Participants will have the opportunity to apply the concepts presented in these workshops to case scenarios as the final part of the workshop.
