Cleveland Rape Crisis Center Announces Expanded Services July 18-24

Cleveland Rape Crisis Center’s main office in downtown Cleveland will be closed July 18-22, 2016, due to expected increased activity in downtown Cleveland the week of the Republican National Convention; however, staff members stand ready to provide services. Regular business operations will resume on Monday, July 25.
Cleveland Rape Crisis Center staff members can be reached during normal business hours at (216) 619-6194 or (440) 354-7264. The Center will offer 24-hour services and serve clients at many of its satellite and regional offices, as detailed below.
Cleveland Rape Crisis Center will continue to offer its 24-hour services for survivors of rape and sexual abuse, their loved ones and members of the community July 18-24:

In-Person Support at Hospitals and Police Stations
Support Specialists are available 24/7 to support survivors of rape and sexual abuse and their loved ones during a visit to a police station to file a police report, and during a visit to the emergency room for a medical exam and evidence collection process. Be sure to request a Support Specialist upon arrival at the hospital or police station.
Satellite and Regional Office Operations
The following satellite and regional offices will be open by appointment July 18-22:

- Juvenile Justice Center Satellite Office
- Cuyahoga County Department of Child & Family Services Satellite Office
- South Euclid Police Department Satellite Office
- Ashtabula Regional Office
- Chardon Regional Office
- Mentor Regional Office
The Center’s satellite offices at Cleveland Division of Police Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Unit, as well as on the campuses of Baldwin Wallace University, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland State University and Cuyahoga Community College – Metro Campus will be closed July 18-22.
Clients with appointments will receive a phone call from the Center confirming their appointment’s date, time and location.
